Project Description
Ever wondered why your poop looks… like that? Oh Poop! is a board game bridging the gap in nutritional and digestive education in Canadian elementary schools. Collect food and event cards as you race to the end of your digestive tract—whoever ends with the perfect poop wins!
Poops can be gross, scary, or downright hilarious to kids. But they’re also incredibly important! Our game aims to make this topic both fun and educational by teaching kids about healthy diets, gut health, how to tune into their body’s hunger cues, and more!

Process Work
The theme for this year's event was ‘bridging the gap.’ During our initial brainstorming, we first considered more serious topics but settled on the rather light-hearted idea of a children’s game about nutrition and digestion. We considered several types of games, including a battle card game and a matching game, before deciding on a board game. We fleshed out basic rules for our game, which helped us decide what kinds of assets would be needed to have a playable game.
We chose cute, simple, and inviting designs for the game assets in the interest of targeting kids. Once we had decided on our final designs, we mocked up our assets using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
